The problem with Keyword Difficulty values

These values are estimates that indicate how difficult it is to achieve a particular position in the search engine results pages (SERPs) for a given Keyword to achieve. These values are usually calculated by SEO tools and are based on various factors such as the number of competitors, quality and Relevance of competitors, the number of Backlinks and the quality of the Backlinks. However, there are some problems with using KD values as the basis for an SEO strategy:

  1. KD values are estimates and may therefore be inaccurate.
  2. They do not always take into account all the important factors that influence search engine rankings.
  3. They do not take into account the specific goals and resources of a site.
  4. They do not take into account changes in Google's search algorithms. Therefore, KD values should not be used as the sole basis for an SEO strategy, but should be used as one part of a broader analysis that also takes into account other factors such as the website's goals, resources, and industry.

Disadvantages

Here are a few possible disadvantages of Keyword-Difficulty:

  1. Can lead to focusing on the wrong keywords: If you focus too much on low difficulty keywords, you could potentially miss out on important keywords that are important to your target audience but are harder to rank for.

  2. Can lead to spending too much time researching keywords: If you spend too much time researching the difficulty of keywords, you could potentially neglect important aspects of your SEO strategy.

  3. May be inaccurate: There is no absolute Keyword-difficulty, as it depends on various factors, such as your domain authority, your content quality, and your linking. This means that the Keyword-difficulty may not always be accurate, and you may be able to make progress if you are working for a specific Keyword even despite high "Keyword Difficulty" edit.
