The festive favorites: The top 10 search terms

In the contemplative pre-Christmas period, when the anticipation of the festive season increases, a diverse world of Advent calendar searches is revealed. The list of the top 10 search terms for Advent calendars includes both targeted searches for specific brands and generic queries such as "Advent calendar" (number 1 with 236,000 searches). Other general search terms such as "Advent calendar men" (3rd place with 52,000 searches), "Advent calendar women" (5th place with 40,000 searches), "Advent calendar children" (6th place with 32,000 searches) and "Advent calendar competition" (8th place with 22,000 searches) are also in the top 10.

However, the Advent calendars of German supermarket chains are also extremely popular and contribute to the festive spirit. Lego advent calendars are the frontrunner among toy calendars with 22,300 searches and make children's eyes light up in the run-up to Christmas.

Neither intoxication nor glitter: alcohol and jewelry are losing popularity

In the dazzling world of jewelry brands, Swarovski and Pandora do not shine in the glittering glare of popularity with just 3,400 and 3,100 searches respectively. Although high-proof spirits are enjoyed in convivial company, alcoholic Advent calendars are apparently not on the gift list.
